Key to better sex? Circumcision! SEE HOW

Men who underwent circumcisions said they not only enjoyed sex more afterwards, but that their ability to perform in bed improved as well, a new study has revealed

Sex is arguably one of the most enjoyable acts you can engage in.
And if the man is circumcised - it can be even better, a new study claims.
Scientists say men who underwent circumcisions saw an improvement in their performance following the operation. Not only that, but the men stated that the sensation improved too.

The study, conducted at the University of Chicago, sent questions to over 360 men six months after their circumcision and then 24 months after.
Almost all the men - 98 percent - reported being happy with their operation while 95 percent said their female partners were satisfied after the procedure.
And two thirds - 67 percent - said they enjoyed having sex more since the operation.

The study confirmed men's long-term satisfaction with the outcome of their voluntary medical male circumcision,' the authors wrote.
'It improved sexual pleasure and function for most men and significantly decreased coital injuries.'
Researchers also found that 94 percent of the men were very satisfied or somewhat satisfied with sex afterwards.

    HOW CIRCUMCISIONS ARE PERFORMED

    For infants:

The baby will be strapped down to avoid movement.

Next, he will have either a topical anesthetic applied to the surface of the penis or have numbing agents injected into the penis or around its base.

One of three different types of clamps or devices - the Gomco clamp, Mogen clamp or Plastibell device - is used to separate the glans from the foreskin and crush or cut a ring of skin from the penis.

The clamps provide for an immediate procedure, while the Plastibell device stays attached for several days before falling off.

Usually the baby will feel better within three to four days, but he can be taken home that same day.

Appearance of the area improves within a week.

    For adults:

Men can choose between receiving a general or a local anesthetic.

A dorsal slit is usually made - a cut from the top of the skin - all the way down to the rounded border at the base of the glans.

The foreskin is held away from the penis and carefully cut off. The remaining skin is then sutured around the glans.

The entire process takes about 30 minutes, but patients are recommend from staying away form masturbation or intercourse for a few week to ensure the penis has completely healed.
